showtime is a local video studio for your coding agent: motion graphics, voice-over, music, captions and footage editing from one sentence, with no cloud AI services, no API keys and no uploads. It works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Devin and OpenCode, and in any agent that supports Agent Skills.

One sentence in, a finished video out
Your agent states its assumptions, shows you a first look, renders on your machine and checks the result before it calls the video done.
Install it in your agent
You need uv and Node.js 24 or 22 LTS (20 or newer works).
The first request checks what is missing and tells you the size and time, about 0.6 to 0.8 GB into ~/.showtime and 2 to 6
minutes, then runs setup once you say yes. Bigger pieces, like Whisper for transcripts, come the first time a video needs them.
Every request gets its own folder with final.mp4, a poster, captions, exports and share copy. Nothing is overwritten.
